Iniciou a sua vida profissional na Hovione em 1982, onde foi programador, inventor de inaladores pulmonares e administrador. Em 2016, fundou a Hovione Capital (agora Bionova Capital) uma empresa de capital de risco. Em 2022, \u00e9 um dos partners de um novo fundo de capital de risco, o fundo Biovance.<br>No seu projeto mais recente, a Mediceus, encontra-se a desenvolver um plataforma de dados de sa\u00fade para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de novo conhecimento cient\u00edfico, utilizando t\u00e9cnicas de Big Data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Currently CEO of Mediceus, chairman of Bionova Capital and president of the Portuguese Family Business Association.<br>A graduate of the French Lyc\u00e9e in Lisbon and of Aberdeen University, where he studied Politics and Economics. He began his career at Hovione in 1982, where he was a programmer, an inventor of pulmonary delivery devices and a board member. In 2016, he founded Hovione Capital (now Bionova Capital) a Venture capital company.
