Stefania Giannini is the President for Government Relations and Research at Efekta, bringing with her a long career as a leading global figure in international education policy, governance, and multilateral cooperation. \n \n<\/p>\n\n
From 2018 to 2026, she served as the UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, providing strategic leadership for the implementation of the global Education 2030 Agenda and working to ensure that education remained high on the international political agenda. <\/p>\n\n

With an academic background in the humanities and a PhD in linguistics, Stefania Giannini previously served as Rector of the University for Foreigners of Perugia (2004\u20132012).
